Welcome to my home page. My name is Debra Rozek. I am a Medical Astrologer. My specialty is helping people choose the best date and time for an operation. That’s called a Surgical Election. I can also choose good dates and times to schedule office visits or lab tests, when to begin a new diet or exercise program, or the start of any health and wellness related activity.
Today, we’ve done an excellent job of conquering infectious diseases with good sanitation and antibiotics. People are living longer and more likely to experience diseases and conditions of a chronic nature, related to their lifestyle. The state of our health is largely determined by choices we make each day, within our own control.
Using your date, time and place of birth, I can examine your natal chart to provide information on your physical health, strengths, weaknesses, tendencies and habits. I call that a Health Consultation.
When I was 18, I read a paperback on Astrology, which sparked lifelong interest in the subject. Since then, I have read, studied and practiced Astrology for almost half a century. My health history is complicated, just like my natal chart. I’ve undergone 8 surgical operations under general anesthesia, including 3 major ones. It was through the study of astrology and my own healing journey that I became a Medical Astrologer.
In 2008, I received the gift of life through a Kidney Transplant from a living donor. I did a Surgical Election to choose the date, and my surgeon cooperated with the timing. For over 10 years I’ve enjoyed a recovery to excellent health and a normal life. The results were published in the Journal of the International Society of Astrological Research and later presented at their conference in Chicago in the summer of 2009. In 2012, I again presented that information on the world stage as a faculty member for the United Astrological Congress in New Orleans.
I’m currently in private practice doing Surgical Elections and Health Consultations for clients everywhere. People find me through this website, ads, lectures and publications, then contact me by phone and e-mail to schedule appointments. I am happy to talk to anyone who calls to first determine if I am able to help them. I am honest in that assessment, as the first rule for any helping professional is “do no harm”.
My formal education includes three college degrees. I completed a B.A. and M.A. in General-Experimental Psychology from Saginaw Valley College and the University of Detroit, and a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan. I’m retired from my “straight” career as a Hospital Planner and College Professor, to now focus on Medical Astrology. My goal is to help others with what I’ve learned. Astrology works!
